Unshaken

Paul’s hope in the Corinthians is unshaken because he knows the deliverance of God in his own suffering. Paul calls the Corinthian church to see their new lives in Christ as a reason to rejoice and be thankful even in the midst of suffering. Is your hope “unshaken”? Are you “firmly grounded” in the knowledge that God is on the throne? The hope that Paul displays is not a simply a hope that affliction will stop, but it is a hope that allows us to see that suffering can draw us near to God.
