About Us

Students 7th-12th Grade
Calvary’s Student Ministry is designed to connect with students in grades 7-12.  These years are pivotal in a person’s life.  There are so many things that lure students away from the abundant life found in Jesus.  Our desire is to partner with parents in raising up godly students that have a desire to reach people for Christ and build them up once they come in Southeast Texas and beyond.

Sunday Connection Groups

A Connection Group is a Sunday morning opportunity to connect with other students in a small group atmosphere led by committed adults.  Each small group consists of students with similar ages. We are challenging our students to gain a deeper knowledge of God and His Word with the Explore The Bible curriculum. Explore the Bible: Students is a book-by-book Bible study designed to equip students to study the Bible personally. Each session is uniquely crafted to help students dwell in the Word and apply it to their daily lives. The Connection Group hour includes a breakfast, time to hang-out with other students, and a large group time that includes engaging worship music.  The students also spend about 45 minutes in small groups studying the Word of God.

Refuge - Wednesday Nights

Refuge is our weekly Wednesday night worship service for students.  Refuge is based off Psalm 73:28, “But for me it is good to be near God. I have made the Lord God my refuge...“. The evening includes games, giveaways, student testimonies, live worship band, Christ centered messages, and much more.  Come experience the life changing news of Jesus Christ.
