Among the many ways Calvary members can serve Christ and His church are our ministry teams. As you consider nominations for consideration to serve on one of these teams, here is a summary of the service these teams provide.

Leadership Discovery Team
The Leadership Discovery Team receives and evaluates individuals nominated to serve on all ministry teams. This team submits a final list of proposed members to the congregation for affirmation at a Family Business Meeting.
Personnel Team
The Personnel Team works with the senior pastor and staff leadership primarily to define and maintain personnel policies, address staffing needs for the church, recommend salary adjustments, and manage the personnel budget.

The Stewardship Team serves in partnership with the senior pastor, staff leadership, and ministry teams to prepare and submit for approval to the church an annual operating budget, regularly review the church’s financial contributions and expenditures, and plan for future capital expenditures and financial needs of the church.
Properties Ministry Team
The Properties Team comes alongside of the facility manager, senior pastor, and staff leadership to assist in addressing the needs of Calvary’s buildings, grounds, and property across all campuses. This work incudes planning for future maintenance, repairs, and construction, as well as mobilizing church members, when appropriate, to aid in meeting those needs.

The Leadership Discovery Team will review all individuals nominated to determine the appropriate members for each ministry team. The team will evaluate nominees to see that they meet the following five criteria:

- Membership – Individuals must be members of Calvary Baptist Church in good standing with the body of Jesus Christ.
- Regular Attendance – Individuals must be regular in attendance in worship and participation in the life and ministry of the church.
- Faithful Service – Individuals must demonstrate faithful service to the family of God at Calvary.
- Generous Giving – Individuals must demonstrate a regular pattern of generous, financial support of Calvary and the mission of God through HIs people here.
- Team Contribution – Individuals will be reviewed to align the individual to the ministry team where the person’s gifts, education, and experience can be of greatest benefit to the responsibilities of the team.
